Truth Will Prevail

Salutations!  My name is Benjamin Hunter and I like to call myself a performer - I could call myself a singer/songwriter and actor - but performer would be easier.  I am also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  I have been called as a core cast member and an actor in The British Pageant 2013 which is a large-scale production being performed in Chorley during the summer of 2013.  I have been given the part of Alexander Baird to play, one of the main youth narrators during the show.  I have decided to keep an electronic journal in the lead up to the event and also during the three weeks I will be spending on the Preston Temple site where the Pageant is being held.

I can not express to you how excited I truly am for this event.  I feel so blessed and I feel so grateful to have been chosen to be a part of such a massive and historical event for the members of the church in Britain.  I have been involved since the first audition in Glasgow back in January and have attended various workshops, rehearsals and call backs and I have to say - from the bottom of my heart with all the sincerity I can conjure up: the Pageant has already changed and blessed my life in a beautiful way.  I have felt a unique love and unity within the cast and within the creative team and it is a feeling I never want to forget.  The Pageant is going to bless and change so many lives and I am SO grateful to be a part of it.

The Pageant has already produced good fruit and will continue to produce good fruit for the members of the church and also those who may not be a member of the LDS church.  Get yourself to The British Pageant this summer!!  I can guarantee you that you will regret not going to see it as it is beautiful and amazing in it's own, unique way.
